PROJECTS

Communitopia Cafe Project

Over the past year, the Communitopia Café Project funded by the National Lottery has supported older people aged 60+ from culturally diverse communities to improve their health, wellbeing, and social connection. Through a range of inclusive and culturally responsive activities, we have created a trusted space where individuals can feel supported, valued, and connected.

Many of those we work with face isolation, health challenges, and barriers to accessing mainstream services.

Our programmes provide a vital lifeline—helping people build relationships, regain confidence, and rediscover a sense of purpose. Project has included weekly Lunch Club, Creative Writing sessions, dance sessions, movement sessions, cinema and theatre trips, arts and crafts sessions, socials, collaborations with Dulwich Picture Gallery and London Contemporary Dance school.
